The book follows the water flow from the springs at Wendover. It describes each section of the canal with pictures, both old (in black & white) and new (in colour), detailing how the canal was used in

{short description of image} the olden days, the historical buildings along the route, the modern scene and the wildlife. A typical page is shown on the left.
This book also contains a map of the Wendover Arm with all the interesting features marked. In addition there are maps and descriptions of three walks you can take to gain a better appreciation of the area.
